Irish whiskey is fast becoming one of the most popular spirits across the World. The Irish Whiskey Museum, based in the heart of Dublin City in a historic building on Grafton Street, tells the complete and unbiased history of Irish whiskey and its importance in Ireland’s turbulent past. The Irish Whiskey Museum is independent of all whiskey distilleries, offering its visitors the opportunity to taste and experience a huge selection of Irish Whiskey.
The Irish Whiskey Museum opened its doors to whiskey lovers from across the world in 2014.

It's a complete and unbiased history of Irish whiskey and its importance in Ireland’s turbulent past. Housed in a historic building right in the city centre, the museum is comprised of an extensive whiskey bar, historic exhibits, a tasting room, and a retail area filled with whiskey and souvenirs. They work with over 30 whiskey brands across Ireland and Northern Ireland, portraying the different distillation methods and styles of whiskey. Listen, learn and laugh during guided tours of the Museum.

Walk throughout the building where each of the 4 different rooms represents a different period in Irish history. Finish the tour by becoming a true whiskey expert with a tasting of three or four different Irish whiskeys. Other tours, such as the Whiskey Blending Experience and the Irish Coffee Masterclass experience, are also available. Or visit our shop and speak to one of our whiskey experts and find the perfect whiskey for you!

The Classic tour takes about an hour, or you can try the Whiskey Blending Experience and bring home a small bottle of your own blend (1.5 hours). Or come have a Whiskey tour and Brunch (1.5 hours). Visitors can attend various events on the weekends.
