Guinness Storehouse

The Guinness Storehouse is one of Dublin’s most popular tourist attractions, located at Saint James Gate in Dublin City Centre. The Storehouse was bought by Arthur Guinness as it was his dream to own a brewery. It is filled with wonder and packed with history. it is now a Guinness museum, incorporating elements from the old brewing factory to explain the history of its production. Some of the old brewing equipment is on show, as well as stout ingredients, brewing techniques, advertising methods and storage devices.

The exhibition takes place over 7 floors and your journey will start as you enter into the world’s tallest pint glass which is the size of a seven store building, it is said that it would take up to 14.3 million pints to fill the glass. Some of the old brewing equipment is also on show, as well as stout ingredients, brewing techniques, advertising methods and storage devices.

The third floor of the Guinness Storehouse takes you through the history of Guinness’ creative advertising. It's a chance to remember iconic TV ads and even re-enact a famous Guinness advert with your own image.

Guinness Storehouse visitors do not get to see the beer being brewed in front of them. But from various vantage points in the building you may see parts of the brewhouse, vats, grain silos and the keg yard.

The final floor is the Gravity Bar, which has an almost 360° panorama over the city, where visitors can will have the opportunity to learn how to pour your own perfect pint and claim your free pint of "the black stuff". When you have finished you tour, why not take home some memorabilia at the exclusive Guinness merchandise shop.
