Grafton Street

Grafton Street is one of the two principal shopping streets of Dublin (the other being Henry Street). Located on Dublin’s Southside; between Trinity College and St Stephen's Green and is by far Dublin's most well known pedestrianised shopping street 

Grafton Street has a wide variety of great shops. Brown Thomas, one of Dublin’s most famous department stores is located here, the department store caters for many designer showcases, both foreign and local. Dunnes Stores and Marks and Spencers are among the other department stores. 

Smaller high street chains include Ted Baker, Lululemon, Boss, River Island, Pandora, The Disney Store, Burberry, Gucci, River Island, Russell & Bromley, Levi’s and many more. For gifts, there's the Dubray Books, the Body Shop, Carroll’s Irish Gifts and Dublin's leading and most exclusive jewellers, Weirs, as well as Tiffany &Co and Appleby Jewellers. At the end of the street, is the St. Stephen's Green Shopping Centre and with over 100 outlets it certainly adds to the wide selection of stores and is a great place to stop for a bite to eat.

There are plenty of other places to grab a bite to eat after a long days shopping, whether you fancy some fast food from Mc Donald’s or Burger King or a nice lunch in Dublin’s famous and oldest institution since 1927, Bewley’s Café. Grafton street can cater for all tastes.

Buskers, including musicians, poets and mime artists commonly perform on Grafton Street to the shopping crowds. Some of the more notable musicians who have performed here include The Scrypt, Paddy Casey, Glen Hansard, and Damien Rice.

Grafton Street is located a 15 minute walk from the Castle Hotel.
