Convention Centre Dublin

The Convention Centre Dublin is Ireland's first purpose built Convention Centre.

The Convention Centre Dublin offers 22 purpose built meeting rooms that can be used for small corporate meetings to international congresses. The entire centre is finished to the highest standards and the venue also incorporates the latest technology throughout.

This Convention Centre is the world's first carbon neutral constructed Convention Centre. There are 475 panels of curved glass that are hung from the roof of the CCD which weight 600kg each. The total size of the Convention Centre an astounding 39,567 M2 and in the construction of this building there was an incredible 2,400,000 man-hours put in to the completion of the centre.

Ireland's largest ever concrete pour took place on 25th April 2008, with 6,000 tonnes of low carbon concrete being poured into the Convention Centre. It took 300 concrete trucks to pour 2,497m3 of low carbon concrete in a single 17 hours operation.
