Whiskey making has been in the Teeling genes as far back as 1782 when Walter Teeling set up a small craft distillery on Marrowbone Lane in Dublin City. In 2015, the latest generation of this family, Jack, and Stephen Teeling introduced the all-new Teeling distillery in Dublin’s Liberties, just down the road from where the original family distillery once stood. it is the first new distillery in Dublin in 125 years.

The distillery has been awarded several awards including “Best Visit in Ireland” at the 2019 CIE Awards and “Sustainable Distillery of the Year” at the 2022 Icons of Whisky Awards.

The guided tours start off with guests learning about 500 years of Dublin whiskey history and interesting facts about the booms and depressions of Irish whiskey.

Guests will then be introduced to the story of the Teeling Family who have revived distilling in the city & have been at the vanguard of the revival in Dublin Whiskey.

On the distillery floor guests will be immersed in each of the 5 steps of the whiskey making process from grain to glass before getting to enjoy a choice of tasting options of award winning whiskeys.
