Eve is an American rapper, singer, and actress known for her bold, confident style and significant contributions to hip-hop and R&B. She rose to fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s with her unique blend of rap, R&B, and strong, empowering lyrics, establishing herself as one of the most successful female hip-hop artists of her era.

Eve's debut album, Let There Be Eve...Ruff Ryders' First Lady (1999), was a commercial success, reaching number one on the Billboard 200 chart. The album featured hits like "What Ya'll Want" and "Gotta Man," showcasing her distinctive voice, witty lyricism, and confidence. Her affiliation with the Ruff Ryders label helped her gain widespread attention, particularly among hip-hop fans.

Her follow-up album, Scorpion (2001), included some of her most iconic songs, including "Who’s That Girl" and "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" (featuring Gwen Stefani), which won a Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. The success of Scorpion solidified Eve as a major force in both rap and mainstream music.
