Mumford & Sons is a British folk-rock band formed in 2007, known for their anthemic sound, rich harmonies, and use of traditional folk instruments like the banjo and acoustic guitar. Their breakthrough album, Sigh No More (2009), featured hits like "Little Lion Man" and "The Cave", bringing folk-inspired rock to mainstream audiences.

Their second album, Babel (2012), won Album of the Year at the Grammys and included tracks like "I Will Wait" and "Lover of the Light." Over time, they evolved their sound, moving away from folk instrumentation with Wilder Mind (2015) and Delta (2018), incorporating more electric and atmospheric elements.

Marcus Mumford, the lead singer, has also pursued solo work. Despite some shifts in their lineup (Winston Marshall left in 2021), the band continues to be a major force in alternative rock.
