The original lineup included Tom Meighan (vocals), Sergio Pizzorno (guitar and vocals), Chris Edwards (bass), and Chris Karloff (guitar and keyboards). The name "Kasabian" comes from Linda Kasabian, a member of the Manson Family, known for her role as a getaway driver during the infamous Manson murders.
