Denzel Curry is an American rapper and songwriter known for his dynamic style and introspective lyrics. Curry began rapping in sixth grade and released his first mixtape, King Remembered Underground Tape 1991–1995, in 2011.
His albums include Nostalgic 64 (2013), Imperial (2016), Ta13oo (2018), which reached number 28 on the Billboard 200, Melt My Eyez See Your Future (2022) and King of the Mischievous South (2024).
In 2024, Curry released King of the Mischievous South, a project that revisits themes from his 2012 mixtape. The album features collaborations with artists like A$AP Ferg and Bizness Boi, blending various regional influences while maintaining a Southern rap sensibility.
Curry has announced the Mischievous South World Tour for 2025, covering Australia, North America, and Europe, with support from 454, Kenny Mason, and Clip. The tour is set to run from February through July 2025.
